Collection: Medicated Oil

"Medicated Oil (Taila) in Ayurveda refers to herbal oils prepared by infusing therapeutic herbs into a base oil like sesame, coconut, or castor oil through a traditional slow-cooking process. These oils are used for external application—such as Abhyanga (therapeutic massage), head and joint care, and skin nourishment—as well as for specific internal therapies in Panchakarma. Medicated oils help balance the doshas, relieve pain and inflammation, improve circulation, and support nervous system and musculoskeletal health. Popular examples include Mahanarayan Taila, Dhanwantharam Taila, and Bhringraj Taila."
